Adjustable Suction

Adjust suction by changing the airstone height to suit your substrate. Raising the airstone reduces suction; lowering it increases suction. With lightweight substrates such as aquasoil or sand, begin with weaker suction to avoid drawing in substrate while still collecting debris. For bare-bottom aquariums, stronger suction can help collect fish waste and leftover food. Match the airstone position to your substrate for effective cleaning and substrate protection.

For Water Depths of 18–60 cm

S, M and L pipe sets accommodate different water depths. S suits 18–27 cm, M suits 27–45 cm, and L suits 35–60 cm. Choose the pipe set that best matches your aquarium's water depth.
